Get ready for a day of hands-on science fun at Future City Lab – an exciting adventure where children can explore, experiment and imagine the cities of the future.
Designed for curious young minds, Future City Lab invites children to step into the role of a Future Maker, discovering how scientists and inventors test ideas, solve problems and create a better world. From a spectacular live science show exploring how future cities could be powered, to interactive experiences where children can experiment with wind, clouds and earthquake scenarios, every activity is designed to spark curiosity, creativity and discovery.
Along the way, children will be encouraged to design, build, test and refine their own ideas through playful, hands-on challenges that make science exciting, accessible and fun.
Perfect for future thinkers, curious minds and creative problem-solvers, JC CoolScience Carnival 2026 promises an unforgettable day of family learning and discovery, created especially for primary-aged children aged 5-11.
Also taking place on the same day is the JC CoolScience Primary Science Explorer Hackathon 2026, a competition and award presentation for students participating in the school-based challenge.
